Much of my art is influenced by my world travels. Sometimes the location of the influence is obvious, sometimes more subdued, and sometimes totally subliminal. This Acrylic and Mixed Media Collage falls in the more subdued catagory. At first glance, the Indian influence may not be obvious, but upon closer inspection, the gold stenciled background, the rustic edges, the vibrant blues in the flowers and vase, and the gold accents and embellishments, are all part of my memories of this lovely country...India.
